Me and Beauty Treatment

I always laugh at people who ask me about the body treatment that I always have to get my skin " bling " and fairer. My friends at my former office thought that I like to spend not only money but my " precious" hours at the Beauty house in order to get and maintain my body and face skin and that's the reason why I got my - just as they said- Fair Skin..hoho..wrong hypotheses, Gals..

One of my friend had ever asked me like this : Grace, you often "luluran" , don't you?. Then I answered based on the fact: "No, I have never". But doubt of my answer, she said : "then how come your arms skin are ok, I mean there is no different between the "cover" areas and the opposite..the my other fellas said " Because she has the fair skin already". Then She said " I also has the fair one" and the other said " but yours and her is different, Niasnese has fairer skin rather than your tribes ( I don't mean to compare with the other tribes, its only talks about the physical characteristic, where no one are better than other)

Ok, let me tell you..as the only daughter in my family, the influence of my brothers are bigger than my mom. I grew up as a " Boyish" or in indonesian we called it " Tomboy" where I prefer to use hot pants rather than Skirt, train set rather than fancy piggy dolls, joined my brothers play "tamiya" in the field rather than play " masak-masakan" with the girls with the same age.

Then when I came to the " teen" age, where my friends knew " cosmetic for the teen one", I prefered to know how to play " Caesar" games in our PC. Where my friends made their own peer groups or Gank based on their appearances and family social status, I prefered to watch and collect the albums of Nirvana, Green Day, Radiohead and Limpbizkit to the Linkin Park one..I was the big fans of Kurt Cobain, where my friends mad of the cute and charming F4, together with my second brother, we prefer to read "Hai" magazine rather than "Kawanku" magazine which my parents subscribed for me.

From the review, you may see how is my personality. I prefered to have the simple and uncomplicated things rather than the others and also the "woman things". I really mind to spend my money or hours to get "Beauty treatment". The first and ever cream bath time for me was in my 16th, when my aunt asked me to accompany her. Also the Facial treatment, I only had 2 times in my whole life. The 1st one when I was in Bandung, got trapped of the " Sales Promotion Girls" of the product that I used ( I started use the cosmetic since I was in my 2nd years of my college) and the result was sooo hurt and I promised myself that I will never ever have it anymore..but a few days of my wedding day, the bridal owner " forced" me to have one because it will make the make up of my wedding will vivid longer..ok, that was the cool reason to get me in that zone.

How about Luluran or Milky bath or any treatment to make our skin soft and fairer?? I have never tried it even once. Where brides to be are busy in managing the body treatment before the wedding day, I prefered doing nothing but hunt the wedding item. My friend had ever said that the Pre-wedding treatment is the 2nd precious time after The Honey moon preparation..but For me, the best thing that I like is when I and my hubby did the searching for find the simple item such us the bells for the bell boys and get confused to find the suitable rent house according to our budget. .

But I admit since I worked, I can't go away from the main beauty items such us the face powder and the foundation, the eye shadow, eye liner, eye brows , lipstick and blush on because without them, I will looked pale and everyone will ask : " are you sick? because you're looked so pale" . My best friend at the former office will be my delegation and said " she isn't sick, she just don't polish the face yet".

But thanks God, even tough I don't have any desire to do the body treatment, He had already given me the fine skin, where other try hard to get their skin fairer. My parents have a fair one and thats the reason why I got the heritage. So its not about the "luluran" things, but it is just a Grace from above

So even tough I am not a good mates in doing the body treatment for my friend, I don't need to be worry. God knows at the 1st that I am gonna be the lazy lady, so He gives me the bonus one..hehe..Thanks Father!

Yeah, I am a person who cant go far from this thing. Why? the main reason is my pale skin that need blush on for making it fresh and Colorful.. I used to have it since I was in my college. My Fav one is a light Pink or brown because that color are simpler and natural. O ya.. beside this nice stuff, I also need my Lipstick to complete my performance

My First Blush on was a "Beige Blush" product from Bless. I fell in love with this product because they provide a "natural" colur and also OK for the sensitive skin like mine ( FYI, The owner was Dr. Utama Widjaja .. I used this stuff for a long time before I went for another. O ya the price also reasonable and the packaging is very nice. beside this blush on, I also like the liquid Foundation which I still use until now.

Since 2005, I turned my choice into the other label : Revlon. My Fav type is "Love that Pink". I moved to this product because they provide "more colorful" Blush on than what Bless provide ( due to my Age, i wanted simpler but more shocking color than before) Then the other reason, it is more vivid/ stick in my face so I don't need to "retouch" my make up.. hehe.. more efficient i think. O ya, the price is absolutely more expensive than Bless, but I think it is still reasonable due to the quality. Now I am still using it and have a plan to use Powder and Foundation from Revlon also ( I already use the lipstick anyway)

In 2007 I also had ever tried another product which is cheaper than Revlon : Oriflame. The product was very soft and the color was also OK. but the main problem was they were not stick as long as Revlon. So I do need to retouch my make up at the evening O ya the price also OK, not really expensive I think

Now, I believe that Revlon still the best one for me. I just cant find another products which is better than it. The price is maybe more expensive than other, but for me as long it is still reasonable and the quality is Best, Nothing to compromise.
